1. Cavities are not caused by \u201cTooth Worm\u201d<\/h4>\n

So here is the thing \u2013 there is nothing as such \u201cTooth Worm\u201d (and even tooth fairy). In medieval times people thought that dental cavities<\/a> are caused by these tine tooth worm. It was believed that these worms used to dig holes and eventually disappear. It was also believed that their movement inside the tooth causes toothache.<\/p>\n

Well thanks to technology you do not have to fear about these \u201cTooth Worms\u201d because ideally and as per clinical proof the tooth decay is caused by the bacteria. This bacterium is present in plaque and forms around the teeth. Now because we all love sweet stuff so we consume chocolates and candies and drink wine. This eventually feed the bacteria and it enjoys eroding our enamel.<\/p>\n

Being the inventor of technology we also have the idea of how to control this bacterium. Brushing twice a day followed by flossing keeps bacteria away. So if you haven\u2019t been doing this requesting you to start it.<\/p>\n

The fact is men and women both develop 20 baby teeth and during the phase of permanent teeth development both genders get 8 incisors, 4 canines, 8 premolars, and 10 secondary molars.<\/p>\n

3. Even before you take birth your teeth starts developing<\/h4>\n

Yes it is true. While in womb your tooth starts to grow. You might not believe it but it\u2019s true that when you\u2019re born the tooth buds of 20 primary teeth are already present.<\/p>\n
