Why is Zoom Teeth Whitening procedure carried out?
Its simple!! Because you need white glistening teeth and need it quick. When your enamel gets discolored it gives your teeth a yellow tinge which becomes embarrassing for us to cope up with the social commitments. This is when you feel the urge to undergo teeth whitening procedures. Teeth Discoloration results from drinking coffee, tea, smoking, drinking alcohol and eating acidic foods. As we grow old the discoloration might get aggravated.
The Zoom ii Whitening procedure uses the Zoom Advanced Power Chairside Lamp as this speeds up the bleaching process. The lamp activates the 25 percent hydrogen peroxide solution. The procedure of teeth whitening by Zoom II is almost the same as the conventional teeth whitening procedure.
Zoom ii Whitening: The consultation and treatment planning
It is a thumb rule that no matter which dental treatment you plan to undergo, consultation from the dentist is a must. We at Dr. Sunil International Dental Center leave no stone unturned hence a comprehensive examination under the supervision of the qualified dentists in our dental clinic in Bangkok. We need to sure that the Zoom ii Whitening is suitable for you or not hence we will run some checks in your mouth and will talk about your dental hygiene and your lifestyle habit. This is just ensure that you will benefit from whitening procedure.
The whole point of having a conversation with you is not just for our knowledge but also for you to know which whitening product or technique is the best for you. Even if you are planning to undergo other dental treatment such as Veneers or Dentures our dentist might recommend you teeth whitening so as to ensure a better match between the restoration and your natural dentition.
In case you have crowns and veneers fitted then your dentist will not suggest teeth whitening as these dental appliances do not respond to teeth whitening chemicals.
Zoom ii Whitening: Procedure
The entire procedure will take just one hour or less. However before the session a regular teeth cleaning will be done. Your lips and gums will be covered and teeth will be exposed. Your dentist will apply the Zoom hydrogen peroxide whitening gel. This works with the Zoom light to penetrate the teeth and break up the stains and discoloration. The gel is applied for 15 minutes. During this time the light gets activated. The total treatment time will be 45 minutes as the gel is applied for 3 sessions of 15 minutes each.
What is expected out of you?
Simple maintaining proper dental care. You have to ensure that dental hygiene is followed without fail. Brushing twice a day followed by flossing and giving up on foods which do nothing but harm to your gums and teeth. Lastly make sure you visit your dentist twice or three times a year.
